The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.) c, [# \, `+ F! S

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm/ s; ?3 Z; d6 v

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
5 y% f6 W2 [+ u T" |: @* A" iInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials. R$ t% a8 w; a9 P$ ?+ p
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
4 D2 ?# t& T, n: u& b* eMust be able to work safely at all times. V8 e4 N, {/ Y9 s+ k: o8 k U- s
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently+ ^/ N C. F" Z2 J6 H$ g
Performs routine housekeeping.! R7 P' I/ j' t
Observes and reports any safety issues9 S9 U- W( l( [" E; N% ]& b. P+ w V. Q# Y

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting
& M# m3 H s, KKnowledge of non-ferrous processing

& `6 Q# ], }7 M$ s4 u* h, nWell-articulated and assertive& p7 O! x1 Y4 L& ]' u
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization5 W* s8 s7 P+ P; i' O4 s7 d8 W
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos9 |# v' |# x/ b; q* k
