Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

0 e8 X0 J: k: i) {- JDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
5 X1 u3 z/ P1 r, Bfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
7 w5 G& l+ B7 ^3 @  G! ^& y9 Uinclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
& j9 ~+ D/ v& Y! K7 JChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
7 S5 e! I7 k% K( K/ Z* o% nseparations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.

and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
