- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for

school year starts.

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
$ ~6 p% M( s0 b, {+ d" ]9 t" QCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus! U1 i" n& X# Z% @# t$ q; n
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,/ P/ c: v9 e) S* s* l9 Z
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for% V P' l5 m, J4 ^% Q
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
! E3 n1 z& i8 ~their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
' A& x2 s0 K5 n/ v# z# ytheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,: {% h$ G3 N/ q, X: V
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking+ i5 |+ ?0 i2 P. u8 x3 ^
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city* R P+ T4 h, A9 f C* Y% V4 O( t
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city

excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or3 j0 }$ g) [- k' H9 c
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents( V/ ?! P: M2 T- a( T+ Q
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint

+ U% A3 D X! G/ V. p* }Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
- M/ \+ o( ^5 xCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate' ], b& h/ u% K0 U) ?$ f
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,0 \3 \5 |: n2 N9 d6 A- e
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
+ B* N* y) Y' o' f' f8 [2 ta variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
9 Q! }0 J2 k5 e2 uof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management

Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
