the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the& o+ t9 n0 r' d0 h( N9 _, Q$ X" W1 E

venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
|0 M# ^8 v6 x# e, g: {! x% B1 C* V% aetc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
5 U a- _- K) A5 a' P- bparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
9 B, s9 }; A$ P: M$ ltheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
' Y3 ]7 i& {& S* y7 v0 Vtheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,. \* _8 j# p/ U Z; a& A
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking/ |: y- V: U1 \2 ^7 z: Y% l
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city& C, w' h0 x+ l% a" k. p9 W
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
( R: q# N2 g6 b1 W8 D' a1 texcursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
* s; @3 k6 S; I! D7 P, O6 ?excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or

such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
/ }- ^' d4 w$ ?Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate! l. r) ~9 _; X
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,- d9 I9 Q$ e* x) e7 r2 y
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
3 h3 u; V) `; xa variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
- h# z( w3 D" y. Zof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management: H4 d/ b# V- w' P9 ?2 v$ B; x
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
- d# y8 c. Q+ B iExcel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
$ \. V; y$ Q" S. C) x" b% [experience coordinating group activities an asset. * f5 @, s7 X. {( b
