JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the ( F- d# z2 l3 n3 y3 y
Bartender and Operations Manager, the Server is responsible for

customer service and room cleanliness.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
5 k. B6 c( W5 z$ g3 K9 e# V5 R1) Provides table service by taking and delivering food and beverage

! p1 _( l' N# Q! n$ D7 Z. Q
2) Responsible for ensuring that customers consistently receive a
% P5 o$ ^) Y* u% K( khigh level of customer service offered with a positive attitude, in 8 W4 y$ E; H) Q$ T* x* z$ ~
accordance with Students' Union policies.# m/ p9 C5 v3 f) }. D. M d
$ k/ J9 ^7 o6 `' z3) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold and for the
) U1 @& y; g9 \( U9 [) O0 |total cash-out value of items sold on each shift.

4) Responsible for maintaining table, room and bar area cleanliness, : S _; M+ n7 C8 Y+ y. u1 x: ^9 Z
including regular bussing and wiping of tables, full ashtray removal
0 o2 r. C/ u7 s; m6 ?: Band ensuring floor surface cleanliness.

5) Monitoring patron levels of intoxication and taking appropriate

6) To enforce the AGLC Liquor Control Act, the Capital Health , m T. a3 W2 V8 z
Authority Act, U of A and Students´ Union regulations and policies.7 f- u* k3 |; r
4 I* l O2 `. n2 I, J# Q% c* J7) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations
! t* B \& |$ _Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
" X. }, d0 b$ }+ y3 L& b. h1 ^1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.. b% x3 V% J1 K- q7 O/ R
1 l8 N" x& q. `
2) Minimum one year serving experience in a high-volume, food-based
3 s. ^) {; {! g, ^6 b6 T: {operation.

3) Personal cleanliness and dress in accordance with Students' Union " B: |# d; S4 v$ V
policy.

4) Experience operating an Interac terminal and processing charge
+ Q: z ^/ t9 F9 ~card transactions.
