JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the , S; L9 k) i% I/ l" h9 M! V
Operations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the

cleanliness and order in the bar.' Y, U7 U% _9 N

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:% T+ k7 x6 L: e A. _6 ~4 c a2 k8 P
1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and ) O; \# R. X* E$ l5 |* a. n; E5 h
beverage items.

# [' I, ?- H3 E0 U% Q0 o0 M: i2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the
k5 ^; q5 _1 q: j8 g% b9 {' L7 Cbar and debit floats.& V) z9 I2 L( h

3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of # z1 F, e. t9 C; I6 ~! A8 d7 f& X7 H
each shift, and upon closing.

4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular

seating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces." ?# M; j W0 S( k

5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in ( F0 b4 Y( A! K7 ?" E+ P
storage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol 9 e2 q: ]$ J# w9 k! v/ B6 e
products, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.

high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in

7) Training part-time staff in a manner consistent with maintaining a 0 W, A* M$ i6 F' Z
high standard of customer service and effective operation of the room.

QUALIFICATIONS:
E/ E- O m4 m" m6 h: j1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume ; J0 A) e. E. `0 R8 \
operation.( f6 O9 s! m2 N/ e

3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in . M6 j) B* C+ s: ]
accordance with Students' Union policy.0 v7 S7 b! ~) U) o

4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs.
