17.5 hours a week.  $8.96 an hour.  Hours from 11:30 a.m. until 3:00

' s- E0 {2 l: ~5 kJOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker I is responsible to the  
* w) Q4 |$ M" W* L. x7 C: |6 JOperations Manager and Senior Operations Manager-Food Services.

1 ]0 C) x# I/ e) ]0 C0 ?DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
1) Serve as cashier when required.

8 @; W3 i' b/ e6 m9 ^2) Cleanliness of all areas and supplies and equipment.

+ t2 u5 b+ w) \. S) v  U3) Food preparation and cooking as required.
) n/ v6 n( Z8 N
4) To follow stipulate of the Edmonton Board of Health.
7 @1 A2 d* K5 d9 @9 p9 P
  q7 t* D7 {# X1 T9 K8 M# ?. {2 J0 L5) Monitor product levels, order, receive and store food deliveries.
. G8 h5 d9 u& K0 h6 ]% l
6) Perform monthly food inventory.

- H1 @* t4 d5 ~* Y8 q2 C  m4 B7) Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating  
shifts within Power Plant/RATT operating hours.

To perform other related duties as directed by the Manager.

* Y. N5 N: N  F) |7 H7 AQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum one year experience as a short order cook, thorough  
) q. ^9 M; Q  b* |0 s0 kknowledge of food handling and storage techniques.
) u( p0 q+ A; b, E' Y3 @8 I/ u1 d
8 E$ X1 y. ]+ o: i, A. }# U: }! H) j2) Previous experience with food inventories.
7 o3 r' e! C- Z4 v" o' e
" c5 g! c2 k+ R4 E; g+ Q9 B2 s3) Cashier experience.
4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Very good public and staff relations.

6) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.

February 14/97/Union Position

Wage: $8.96/hour (under negotiation) plus 50% discount on food
