KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

, t H2 E* ]( A% C1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.
! q' m7 E X$ U# A( t7 C0 T2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China. 1 @( S4 ]7 M2 M# a7 @$ i. Z# m0 W
3. Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

0 W( u1 {9 Z6 k# JPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:
( M" x8 R4 y9 ?; M S1 g3 v( \+ H5 p8 h% t. T& B# v
1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.
; b: K4 z! ^9 N6 Z+ ?2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.# P5 R7 y' s- G* a( K
3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.
. G( M7 C7 D3 l x' Z4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
5 ~' d! W+ D+ p' @5. Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment. ' E/ y6 R' f) P
6. Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.
