DOORPERSON (RATT)

; H' {7 g3 A4 U. M# Z; ?JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
4 |, X, }7 [2 O7 |& C(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

$ Z! Y) J. {! {0 F% {" Z2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
# y6 x" k: C1 Y; _4 g- L2 Cof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

/ A8 V8 r3 Z. q9 O, t; G) ^6 V5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

& |9 q  r  }$ v6 N! T5 y2 l' K1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

- D3 p& J2 b4 S2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

( J2 _+ v8 X2 w" B7 W4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
