DOORPERSON (RATT)

% v" }: ~3 U' K) H: k) N6 G- v# AJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
9 p/ @! j0 U" f. m, s(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
2 G9 H+ }$ b7 w6 ~7 n* o) _) @policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
8 \8 r) Y6 x( W  K3 q4 C1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

7 [" M/ _6 c$ p( b) a) E2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
) A+ V- M5 j' U
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
# }8 _$ D) g. O  o/ a# Mof garbage.
& u. M5 ?  \2 _8 l. V- l
4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

6 @0 |9 Z- V/ R5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
9 L3 l0 k4 g& [# c! marea when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
. i7 G  k$ G6 r0 p0 c8 @8 SManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

: v1 n3 u! z+ O+ _; w2 i" ^0 kQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
! G) B8 k5 Z0 f3 {calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
