JOB SUMMARY: The Chief Returning Officer reports to the President of * S @, Q' U# I2 d
the Students' Union and oversees all electoral logistics as per Bylaw

2) To run referenda/plebiscites as per Bylaw 2000.' A5 r6 c0 Q, |+ p4 ^ m& r

3) To choose the Deputy Returning Officer(s) and assign their duties.

4) To organize polls during elections/referenda, including appointing

across campus, and advertising the poll locations.

10) To be available to all parties during elections/referenda for a * V& W: A( [0 |+ k0 J5 }7 I8 v% a0 E
minimum of four (4) working hours a day, between Monday to Friday,

14) To organize a minimum of one (1) forum to be held during the week

1) Must be an undergrad student registered in at least one (1) course
7 Q* v2 m( u( S4 wfor each of the terms of Winter Session and shall be a full Students' $ J4 C0 a$ h) N0 a- \8 N; y# I3 \% B
Union member.7 @- n, P: x( ] @) }! f& `" q

2) Must have some experience in student elections.; a6 ^% C' ]" a5 q9 T5 p

3) Shall not concurrently hold a position on Students' Council, or . c2 ?; n( K. ~5 j% T+ O7 F
any of its standing boards, committees, or any other paid position

4) Willingness and ability to work varying hours.
