ECBEA was approached by the Asian Chinese Opera Association to announce

award

theatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2

. X0 l0 e: F- I( m( Hinstructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
the
/ k; x0 t( r# R6 L# {9 ^5 iCantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
- C% F# A1 T4 NAchievements
  a) ]' S% h7 E% v# rin Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts
Development
Council.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The

% e: k6 r" C9 a' aperformance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a

songs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to
9 i- `8 {5 v4 w) p, nsold-out
crowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
Hong Kong
