festival.
8 A; w. \8 z: W% Y$ }: V* JBe Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and, ]. l3 l6 w1 I/ L8 v0 ~+ x" f% y3 N, m4 F
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft7 z1 g9 F- T/ ]4 D! b4 j( F
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
& ]( ?9 E/ q- b- k5 }+ dChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
; k9 ?3 O: \. G. o0 O( S) Oartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
3 X; R% ^; J8 E( U1 M$ F, @' vEnvironment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
+ l# ~) m+ q& I H; Qvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the

% H6 i. z* a' `: z1 LFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be+ N/ A0 f! h* m% Y- Q* ]
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.9 x) q+ ~- \3 c+ j8 ]! G* `* i
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
! D; y/ ~1 {4 V; D. R0 c* Bthem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
+ B7 W) u; n8 V7 n* [hours are part of this crew’s duties.7 b2 Q& U" v0 _7 H0 M

festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
+ Q# H0 A6 ^: cprograms to visitors to the festival.9 w. ?3 A, X; ^# w
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
' i3 H4 o. A: K7 H' n$ i* {1 Teveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
$ o0 F/ d# B8 J- D/ n! C3 oOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
k" [4 N1 v9 Z9 W% ievents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the- R5 o3 W5 N' @$ F" @
festival.* ` L) O$ M0 h! }! a5 m9 Q
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
. B% k$ Y2 ^9 L1 H2 B5 [operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you* e& c5 P2 G- r
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.7 u, _% Z. j, ^2 ~
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
- o- P6 H- _ B3 {1 y3 n; @) |4 Gand/or understanding of back stage procedures.
# f; R, F: {& B& B" @Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
/ i, v6 a! U b ^required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
+ l4 { I- d' @airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival# L5 Z& e+ j1 e, p3 V
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
