% g4 u, I& k( H% l4 ~2 @( mwork the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
0 G$ @2 ]' A/ ~0 Uprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
% a9 k; R- |: Y0 J! mChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
/ f7 b- E$ E- ^ I/ q6 t, zartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.3 g$ o- ~4 M( n! u
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for- J' V1 {( O& S& r+ z, l
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the

; T; \, a3 N1 n! C! x0 ^: iFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
. F2 P9 `5 n' M Vpart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
. ^1 f1 G# G, C4 HHospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
/ n# F- z+ n, A- y; vthem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
% F9 C D- N ]/ E5 Z' M* x$ n, Dhours are part of this crew’s duties.
5 S/ C& v$ [0 [+ t% |Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
/ O: o2 ~, \+ {0 }5 g+ e5 h! kfestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide+ O1 H. A8 S& H
programs to visitors to the festival.3 [, b' I4 X1 d8 L ^( c
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for7 M" C, B8 h9 J) k3 x" `( F1 g. L
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
7 A* }% p4 U( p* u/ R/ ]( VOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
* d1 m* W% l( X. L/ y" c' R. r, jevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the! l4 c% v% `: q- b
festival.; e7 H; M6 P' X1 ^2 N/ C
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is2 o' U4 d# C! g& z5 u, M ]* h
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you# \* S; h' \4 v4 F% `3 W& Q
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
$ Y6 O* x' r$ IStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training! S/ V% t; P- P
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
3 D! e( _7 c* j; G \3 u) y! bTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
: A! _3 n) y+ ^required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as4 {& ]9 L6 ~7 j3 S. V* u
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival" i6 M; e8 J8 R! G
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
