Intermediate Accountant or A/P
Located in our Edmonton Head Office this position will report directly to the CFO.
, c" N' F  i! |) F9 V) Z0 W$ SIncumbent must possess exceptional organizational and analytical skills, and be detail oriented. Duties will include:
1 N$ U- z0 F  }  Q& b- Process full cycle of A/P, include invoice coding, journal entry preparing and issuing cheques.
- Assist in pulling A/P information for custom & internal enquiry proposals
7 ?; H9 Q5 b# m7 `- Reconcile monthly bank transactions, credit card and GL accounts
3 |2 h+ Z3 G+ u/ R& _- All aspects of petty cash transactions
& y7 h( @: @. e* [- Perform back up duties for the Store Administrators
" s0 h6 l( b. T2 N- Monthly review and reconciliation of P.O and inventory
- Verify the accuracy of all cost information
6 R; `7 q1 b* X# d- Run monthly basic management report
- Other miscellaneous duties as required
Qualities that are essential to your success and ours include:
: d+ Y: E0 a6 b1 q- Good communication and telephone skills, be well organized, and must be detail oriented.
- A degree or diploma in Accounting or in the latter stages of a recognized Accounting designation.
) e$ _" C0 Z! q* U- J- Minimum of 1 year of related A/P and account/cost control experience.
  Z/ H# g! J/ r  J( w" O- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) + ACCPAC
( q  D3 F* q) H- Results oriented individual with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and timelines.
