Wow. In edmonton, if we're talking about academics, then it is definitely going to be in the following order

Yes there is an AP program, but as far as I know, IB (as offered by Harry Ainlay) is still more renowned. Also... Harry Ainlay has a french immersion program. :)" x- ~8 }& A0 x9 W& n

Vic Comp used to be attractive for "artsy students", but now, the new Lillian Osbourne has taken its ranks for being an artsy school..., r4 {+ y( Z9 i0 p8 s4 s
8 p3 _- l* ]5 D, v8 XOtherwise, I still consider Old Scona and Harry Ainlay some of the better schools around in terms of academics :)+ \. R5 W, n! k, r% L( d0 G

Like I said, I graduated from high school a few years ago, maybe rankings have changed. But when I was in high school, this is what the schools I previously named above were well-known for. Hope this helped! |
