一个核电站可以供应方圆几百公里地方的电力,那么就是说附近几百公里都不会有其他电力供应的设施,后备电源在海啸中已经倒下了,在地震,海啸过后,道路被摧毁,要从几百公里外引电应该也不是说干就能干的事吧。

The move is aimed at covering shortfalls in the grid due to power stations faltering following last Friday's devastating earthquake and tsunami.

Peak demand for power, according to the utility, is between 6 p. m. and 7 p.m., during which time the company said demand will outstrip supply.
