I really don't know and never thought it can be directly translated but I suddenly thought of some words that I never used, when I was driving on my long commute this morning:- C- j8 R% u0 E% D4 k6 C! k
what about clichéd ...
* U4 Y7 Q# D5 M. e0 N3 {+ I# I& s f f% q, N j
, o* S! r( E9 g( J9 y' U! dcliché really means overused, predictable, 陈词滥调, 了无新意. for example, in chinese shows, to imply that a woman is pregnant , she will always suddenly rush into the washroom and start to vomit, that's a cliche scene. so cliche!$ C, N2 @9 E. t2 _, s& r$ a
but not rouma at all.
' e1 |" h! ^+ G6 J) T8 oso far I think "cheesy" is really THE word, as per the slang dic. |
