The house prices are ridiculously high now, they will drop in 1-5 years for sure. It is too risky to buy a house now, you may end losing a lot of money. Now those construction workers make tons of money, if you buy a house, you are donating money to them. If you have too much money, you can do that, if not, you need to think about it carefully.

Renting is a much better option for you, it is cheaper. Try to save money now and wait for a couple of years, if prices drop significantly, then you can buy. Otherwise you may want to move other cities.

4 [2 `0 `6 d4 p% @. L8 O2 wThere is no difference in terms of life quality between renting a house or owning a house. A house is just a place for you to live no matter you own it or rent it. The benefit to own a house is you can build equity from it. After 100% price increase in the recent years, I don't expect to get 10% increase annualy.

If the goverment put controls over the market, it will for sure reduce the risk of market crash, that means the price will keep going up--slowly, but up, for a while yet.

+ V; _1 r& H( \  N* N* N! {" NLZ, buy it now, but your need to do a lot of research in this market, safe bet would be: find a fix-upper in a good area.

Mortgage/Month + property tax: $1700
Utility (gas+electricity+water): $300/M, day:21 degree C Night: 19 degree C
