Pay Rate: $43.77 per hour - 10 days on / 10 days off rotation - alternating Days then Nights

Location: Kearl Project, Northern Alberta

! e: X$ B1 Q& v2 E4 J( S7 OOur client, an industrial asset-management company that provides best-in-class, sustaining and maintenance services across the Canadian gas and oil sector is looking to add several Red-Seal (Interprovincial) or Alberta-licensed Instrumentation Technicians to their Team.

/ e" n% {, ?7 f6 V; e7 o0 qResponsibilities of the Role:3 W. S ]8 [& ` |. I0 O. e
* q4 U0 \8 p' j! ?- Install and maintain instruments on new or existing plant equipment and processes* R& n5 S, T& y
- Calibrate and maintain components and instruments according to manufacturers’ specifications8 L% N$ a8 X3 |( H# ?. J& e# z" s/ [) f
- Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation and control equipment
9 s- h! a5 g) Y, o) b- Consult manufacturers’ manuals to determine test and maintenance procedures / Use pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing devises to inspect and test instrument and system operation, and diagnose faults
3 ~; r9 F2 x9 r+ Q- Implement loss management practices: X2 U7 |8 Y3 g" V0 l0 U
- Consult with and advise process operators+ i) Y0 c! x) M$ U
- Do Risk Assessments
1 s3 c2 f. X2 K* d/ F+ ^+ j; t- Interpret and use appropriate CSA, ISA and API installation standards and practices
