你说的梅约纳小学，是指在Millwoods的那个吗？昨天我去找邻居签字的时候，她说她的女儿和儿子在东南的中英双语Program学习，不但能说，且能写，能读。听了非常受鼓舞！

我想如果马健威当了省长，他也会支持在西南这个没有中英双语，但又中国人集居之处设立中英双语Program的吧。

From Gary Mar's Campaign Manager

I want to once again thank everyone for their hard work that produced the wonderful 1st ballot victory on September 17.  The display of support for Gary is a direct result of our collective efforts and he appreciates each of you.

However, there is still work to be done to make Gary the leader of the PC Party.  On October 1 there is one more vote and it matters the most.

For Gary to win the next vote, we need to double our efforts in the remaining 10 days.  We cannot be complacent.

Memberships need to be sold.  They are available on www.garymar.ca or by calling 1-855-GARY MAR (1-855-427-9627).

Donations need to be collected.  The website is a convenient way to ask your friends to give.

And most importantly, we need you to vote.  Plus, make sure to remind your contacts to vote as well.  Advance Polls are open on Tuesday, September 27 with the main vote on Saturday, October 1.

I also want to stress the importance of maintaining a positive and optimistic tone as an ambassador for the campaign. Gary has said from the very beginning that this campaign is your campaign.  Together, we can put forward an agenda for positive change.In the coming days, there may be negative attacks on our campaign.  I encourage you to not respond to these comments.  Our positive message and optimism for a better Alberta should remain our focus.  It is also important for the future of our Party that we unite following the outcome of October 1st.

Gary’s message of positive change has been well received in all corners of the province, urban and rural, north and south.

If we keep our focus and discipline in the remaining days of the campaign, we enable Gary to bring his passion, experience, and values to work for a brighter future for all Albertans.Are you ready?  I know I am.

谢谢，我想你们说的是对的。但也不要紧，马健威原来做过教育部长，Edmonton的教育部长也是最早提出支持马健威竞选的支持者之一。我想到时只要省长表示支持，大家又有需要，其他人总不至于反对吧，大家说是吗？

Gary Mar Campaign:

We couldn't have asked for a better week!

Gary was honoured to receive the endorsements of Ted Morton, Rick Orman and Doug Griffiths.  The team is even stronger with their commitment.  We welcome their support, and those of their campaign volunteers.  Make sure to reach out to your friends in their campaigns to encourage their participation.

As Gary has said, "The unity of the party is growing thanks to the support of these candidates and MLAs over the past few days. This is the start of rebuilding and unifying our party, and with strong voices like Ted, Rick, and Doug Griffiths, we will gain the momentum for change we need."

But let's also reflect on something else Gary said, "My own commitment is to work hard to show all Albertans how my leadership can strengthen our province, keep Alberta a leader on key fronts and bring fiscal discipline back to government."

This means, we all need to work harder than ever, because Gary will be doing the same.

The other remaining campaigns are going full out.

We need you to keep selling memberships.  Donations need to be received.

And most importantly, we need to ensure that every single Gary supporter votes.

Keep this fact in mind: the number of people that have voted grew substantially between the first and second ballots in previous leadership campaigns. We have to out sell the other camps.

While you are out in your community, remember to stay positive and optimistic.

Reach out to some people that you haven’t yet like:

•fellow parents waiting for kids at after school or during activities;
•members of your sports team or club;
•colleagues at work
•other volunteers in service and community organization.
Our campaign is all about bringing new people together.

Only Gary Mar can unite and renew the party. He will bring north, south, rural and urban together into a positive party – ready for the future.  He will listen and lead, addressing the issues that matter most: health care, education, and fiscal discipline.Let’s keep up the hard work.
