JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager- , X+ N/ |: w. K, t' j
SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical / C7 o$ N; U4 U/ x/ I$ ^
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects " l$ t8 Z w% y7 N* q+ \: k
of Course Pack production.

+ r, l( ~/ L$ L2 ^6 dDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:3 V4 I& [3 C/ R! \+ [
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning / _0 a J3 T* X: |
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.. W4 m) ^! \9 b+ A7 b; v4 M7 E9 J
1 z7 C( o# Q- {9 j2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including , k& c- g: f) K, J8 @
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.. A0 H5 I' J, `- ~
: B" W$ h+ k7 u" x- a, ^- D
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
5 A! | u/ x' `' a7 K3 C% ]5 {* lcourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and
8 P$ i( `: f, i7 n- k! C3 S Z4 \, {keeping appropriate and accurate records.

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment " A S8 G, f2 V1 _/ W
failures to the Operations Manager.

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,

QUALIFICATIONS:( c/ W! }5 o- F E. K
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
" q8 ?# d$ h0 D2 p2 d2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication . p' M: E/ c5 c
skills.
) ?5 D4 _4 N" _* |3 q3 Z
4 s- u9 A+ O7 X3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.5 _; K7 L8 ^* F9 W5 m
/ c0 F- l6 m3 S& W2 k4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.. ^* L! Y i! m4 f0 e! |4 T) t# G0 X
3 n. H$ B- j* G; t5) Ability to work in high stress environment.

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
