Hailstones fell in several communities, with the largest hitting High River, Airdrie and Irricana.$ [# G }$ w& O1 l; v% [" Q

Wade Nelson, who lives on a ranch near High River, said he got his vehicle into his garage just in time.

High River resident Bonnie Murray said the fist-sized hail cracked her skylight and took out one of her neighbour's back windows.5 x& @& K4 C; z' ]; m0 w/ k' R

# w6 J- r, [% A0 M% h" @1 a"It is really black, windy and hailing," she told CBC News on Sunday night. "It's looking pretty bad out there."6 V6 M% J& N3 D& q- v1 m9 B# z
$ z& V b. ]& ^7 p; t' ?The campground at Crimson Lake Provincial Park west of Rocky Mountain House was hard hit by the storm.+ E" a5 @* m8 L7 x( H

Bertha Taks, who helps run the campground, said the storm knocked down trees, damaging three trailers.
