According to the RCMP, the 26-year-old woman from Strathmore, Alta., faces 12 charges including fraud, theft and false pretences.

% {8 ^6 C( p7 \! O2 b( V5 ?9 t4 GThe RCMP began investigating following a complaint that money was missing from the town of Kyle.

It was learned that about $18,000 was missing, the RCMP said.

The woman is scheduled to be in provincial court in Swift Current, Sask., on July 25.

Police said they won't release her name until she makes her first court appearance.

Kyle, a town of about 500 people, is close to the Alberta border, about 320 kilometres west of Regina.
