Price up or down will be determined by lots of factors in the short run. Even in US, some locations are still going up no matter the market as a whole is going down. But I believe if you got a good location and the house/condo has all the good factors. It will go up in the long run definitely. Every market has a cycle. Housing is the same. The market may go down only if economy goes down. People can't find job and can't afford living here. I guess nobody would like to see that. I know it is contradictory for somebody who wants the housing market goes down. But if you think it deeper, we actually should hope the market goes up. Why we staying in here and start our life here? We hope we have a better life. Everybody has a job, and everybody has a raise, and within reasonable rate of inflation. :-)
