下个月要参加一个庆祝典礼，请柬上对着装的要求是“Women should consider cocktail attire suitable to a very formal occasion (e.g., a fancy wedding).“
请问：COCKTAIL ATTIRE 是什么样式的衣服？在爱城的什么地方能够买到符合要求的质优价廉的衣服？

我记得cocktail attire指男士穿西装，女士穿cocktail dress，指正式场合穿的短裙（不是长的晚礼服）。

谢谢楼上两位的答复。有点感觉了，但裙子怎么那么短，好多年没有穿过这样的短的裙子了。
