! F# @. t6 s1 |; \3 K4 HI sent an email to CIC buffalo yesterday inquiring about my case and got the reply:

"We have requested background information from other government
offices(s).  Unfortunately, we cannot provide a date when the processing
6 @0 x. j2 p( ^3 Z# dof your application will be complete.  We cannot respond to requests for
the status of your application before this information is received."
) }2 ?, {8 ]0 K# E2 Q6 \+ q5 _6 t( ^
" T7 X- t+ `/ i, T" ?! xDoes this mean I am undergoing background check? Is it a normal BC and security background check(SBC)? Anybody has idea about how long it is gonna take? Thank you!

本人也不幸在被调查中...

不用太担心，他们的回复都是同一格式，不代表一定在作背景调查。我也收到过这样的回复，后来request了一个CAIPS NOTES，发现是不知为什么我老婆得Medical Examinaion的结果他们一直没收到。现在我们就要landing了。你也可以request一个CAIPS NOTES，看看到底是怎么回事。

不一定就是背景调查，　也可能是查再加拿大有无犯罪记录什么的，不用担心。
