I sent an email to CIC buffalo yesterday inquiring about my case and got the reply:9 u6 R" K% `- Q9 T

offices(s). Unfortunately, we cannot provide a date when the processing 2 x7 z- r; i( Uof your application will be complete. We cannot respond to requests for$ z: c% j1 S! t5 m+ L$ Z
the status of your application before this information is received.", V V0 s) S2 P% [" O& N' A
. S% ~1 r5 Z6 X# [8 f" KDoes this mean I am undergoing background check? Is it a normal BC and security background check(SBC)? Anybody has idea about how long it is gonna take? Thank you!
