Apply to Extend my mom's visitor stay

; B, m$ I6 j+ ^' Z2 h4 O5 zMy mom's visitor status in Canada is expiring. We are planning to apply for her extension. I did read the application package but have two questions:

1. The reasons for an extension. Can we use the reason: we want her help to take care of our new born baby? There are people say it is a bad reason. Is it true?

8 m9 P7 X; b0 a1 ]2 v' C& r2. In the Document Checklist - Visitor. Proof of means of support, as specified. Since we are taking care of her, what are the required documents for "proof of means of support"?
