Apply to Extend my mom's visitor stay

' r9 c! Q7 K% W9 K' NMy mom's visitor status in Canada is expiring. We are planning to apply for her extension. I did read the application package but have two questions:
1 l$ d; @+ z2 K4 q
1. The reasons for an extension. Can we use the reason: we want her help to take care of our new born baby? There are people say it is a bad reason. Is it true?

- P$ ]4 p, \& ^' p' M2 G2. In the Document Checklist - Visitor. Proof of means of support, as specified. Since we are taking care of her, what are the required documents for "proof of means of support"?
