Apply to Extend my mom's visitor stay

2 ~! d" c0 K9 F7 W% k9 ^: P$ c5 nMy mom's visitor status in Canada is expiring. We are planning to apply for her extension. I did read the application package but have two questions:

. L  ^, H% \. q0 o9 |2 V1. The reasons for an extension. Can we use the reason: we want her help to take care of our new born baby? There are people say it is a bad reason. Is it true?
