Apply to Extend my mom's visitor stay

Hi there,

9 G/ s9 `  g% w( f! cMy mom's visitor status in Canada is expiring. We are planning to apply for her extension. I did read the application package but have two questions:

9 {1 k" `" H) c7 @3 R1. The reasons for an extension. Can we use the reason: we want her help to take care of our new born baby? There are people say it is a bad reason. Is it true?

2. In the Document Checklist - Visitor. Proof of means of support, as specified. Since we are taking care of her, what are the required documents for "proof of means of support"?
