Apply to Extend my mom's visitor stay

5 y3 |9 J/ s. ^- A+ d- I" n/ a7 @My mom's visitor status in Canada is expiring. We are planning to apply for her extension. I did read the application package but have two questions:

+ Z' f7 ~% D# ]9 X3 _! E1. The reasons for an extension. Can we use the reason: we want her help to take care of our new born baby? There are people say it is a bad reason. Is it true?

% L$ N. l- x" V) a' ^6 n2. In the Document Checklist - Visitor. Proof of means of support, as specified. Since we are taking care of her, what are the required documents for "proof of means of support"?
