Apply to Extend my mom's visitor stay

( H; t3 r4 @8 E9 a0 H+ |My mom's visitor status in Canada is expiring. We are planning to apply for her extension. I did read the application package but have two questions:

4 ]4 d& Q  y$ M; P; W# M1. The reasons for an extension. Can we use the reason: we want her help to take care of our new born baby? There are people say it is a bad reason. Is it true?

- c9 L' Z; y% M8 Y# i2. In the Document Checklist - Visitor. Proof of means of support, as specified. Since we are taking care of her, what are the required documents for "proof of means of support"?
