My mom's visitor status in Canada is expiring. We are planning to apply for her extension. I did read the application package but have two questions:) B2 G* d5 p9 L0 s" Q# s

1. The reasons for an extension. Can we use the reason: we want her help to take care of our new born baby? There are people say it is a bad reason. Is it true?# n" |& h( j! {# K

2. In the Document Checklist - Visitor. Proof of means of support, as specified. Since we are taking care of her, what are the required documents for "proof of means of support"?+ G$ ?$ \4 B. O" D7 q
