Shifts:            8:00am to11:00am - Wednesday and Friday

JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

( F6 A; m: I+ i2 ~ DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

/ ^; d1 Z9 Y' \1 N* p4 X1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.
* q+ r/ ]3 w# k  _4 C
2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
" B7 c3 N4 @9 O
3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

  o! g" W' V- b$ K8 S. c  T4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

7 d. z( g9 }: L. X; \5 f5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

$ y1 t( x/ k3 }# N# b& x) [' v9 T" n
% T/ v0 G; a6 B. n+ I% h( `- F  R1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.
4 l' ^- r0 F1 G' Z6 Y5 g/ P! p
5 \! L/ F) B9 i  Z( A% f2) Cashier experience.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

8 o/ O9 h( b* q5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
