JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

- y2 T  D1 g5 j: l7 X DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
! z" B. q+ @  f0 K. H3 ~4 J
( n4 r2 D- U; {" h4 |- y3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

' m; x0 s( V0 Z  k# f; E5) Serve as cashier when required.

: j, c- ?  }+ I6 a1 z9 E. e6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:
3 f# @: t# Q3 U  o! a3 C: s! G
6 x" b+ h2 e5 V& x* u1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2) Cashier experience.
& b) U# R. A9 V/ w/ a, A
2 _# t! \% S" O) P0 H1 j( G* E1 s3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
3 D" O5 y8 d) [( z
+ r. _; Q$ w4 s8 F/ b+ A4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
