JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
' `1 M+ V4 L+ ]9 N& D: q( G# M
1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.
  ?' y" R# b1 C6 t5 Z8 n5 u
2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

+ J8 O5 P6 ^9 F7 Y3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

  X3 R8 F" b$ d  d5) Serve as cashier when required.

, u9 C8 P7 s% b6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

5 n/ d  X: R0 I1 I" W1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.
# w$ }6 ~" T3 w6 }* m& R
2) Cashier experience.

# A) F" p; {+ [& L7 T3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5 w) J, k2 Q3 d$ P6 }1 W1 A+ i  w4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
