6 [, a5 m% a9 dJOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  m  c: D% C- J1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

6 d1 y; A* H9 s, t2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.
- N/ q( H: [& ]+ g9 ?- c, c
. [3 D0 y- k. t  y5 ~( G3 `4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

; Y% S6 }: M, e$ T8 W+ x5) Serve as cashier when required.

5 @0 J' y1 P# v$ F6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

) E9 m) d5 R6 O1 P$ `4 B
" X, x4 f6 r, t! p4 C1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.
% o2 J& N3 O" j+ W# W
2 f  x6 d; k, H5 P2) Cashier experience.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
% x( z& w, A2 Z6 w
4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

  n. v0 e" H) S& w; W& l8 H; S5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
