• design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities& Y0 `2 W/ R3 X: B% f
• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders
2 y% K) [6 f- T" q• communicate the value of the organization to the public! r7 c/ j9 x6 B7 u! S
• identify community needs and trends3 E* o- V& S! \- F: F* u4 i
• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
! w# A# q3 ]! p/ R P, P- C M7 z% q• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
9 G2 H V/ U1 v4 k/ C! `• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

- University degree in a related field; ^: |/ i, [( ]" X9 y) @
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
1 n/ Z! R1 ~: k& Y& r% E8 I' a- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
# D O& ]/ @6 w7 O0 I. B- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization
