• responsible for recruitment, selection, training and performance appraisal and termination of staff

• monitor progress of agency service providers and coordinators

Programs/Services

• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• identify community and user needs and trends

, e. h, o* R! K) k• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities; ^4 W1 h3 ~& I# G' @: e
• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders: J8 n* G4 j( c2 O" o3 D2 o* z/ y
• communicate the value of the organization to the public

• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups/ E) T3 L ]( l1 s
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.. B8 m; h; Y4 l7 N3 F1 i- F
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff

- University degree in a related field; . b0 z B: _& S' P! }
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
' E( G, C( t! m5 g5 G( |$ c- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; 3 n/ X. o4 A8 W
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization * ^& r# o$ f3 d. ]- A- z
: n* k5 O( p9 j7 \& z9 y, USalary+ |+ R" N, z @, ?9 P2 V" j
- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits # z! ^- Q/ g8 E
