• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• identify community and user needs and trends

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities, E- M4 X8 k& x
• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders
& w, u8 n1 l- d( g1 ?1 L• communicate the value of the organization to the public
3 J" L( K4 j- _+ u* }• identify community needs and trends B+ R' m: A* W" U" s: D; }
• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
4 @, _* _/ h, l$ Q2 M) X• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups8 j4 M% V1 D: ^) x( T
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.+ s" j& e7 t m7 s l9 Q6 t) X% {
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff

5 O1 Y+ t5 _( a$ Z) m3 f: n8 C- University degree in a related field; " X7 K6 f6 y- b7 K+ `, y# h
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
3 G" }( w- j# r4 r0 h- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
! {% s1 I D* @5 d3 Z) k6 c- R- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization

- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
