烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter
: ]7 u- e2 x9 w* y) Q- u3 n- U) u• 1 cup sugar
8 y7 R) ?9 X7 v• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
3 E7 W/ C& k& Q+ \$ }+ I' Z6 K3 T4 y• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
0 j* a1 t& ]1 N; L• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
7 o0 K" I+ t- Z6 a6 k3 ]Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

^9 U2 V& I$ H3 B6 M6 P这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。 g- A3 T$ b$ g0 l p m
beating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。
