烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter / \7 ]5 a% A( |& Y
• 1 cup sugar 3 L5 W' k! D; R6 `% ]. T
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
( Q3 o' d0 h/ C4 Q+ @• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)5 H' v! {4 q; z. ?* ]
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1 p1 w9 c2 r( g: n+ V
• 4 eggs, well beaten

Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. : B+ [! e9 E1 P- i- F5 W `1 U
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
6 ]9 m& P s. l& J# yBake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

beating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。

检查是否烤熟的办法: 用牙签插一下cake中间,若没有什么粘在牙签上就熟了。 |
