ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
+ E9 }2 i. G% zrecombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
" I6 w# z* h9 N* ltechnology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
1 j5 d- c; _/ R( e# bstrong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

* @- y4 m8 K! k. F  }Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
9 i) [, p. i! [( d* ^& @9 mobtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
  q& J% c# S  G0 \/ u/ ^related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
. Q$ x7 W- L, M7 N' x5 v4 O2 ]cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
- X! W5 R5 n% O% o$ [is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
accurate and complete research records.

funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
