ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
3 q' I2 R4 W7 T0 L! Hrecombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
( d9 h- k% n0 L6 O9 F  [strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
6 _2 `2 P5 \/ W% w$ bobtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
* O6 p2 V- i1 x4 w- s5 ?6 D% A, icloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
% n0 G4 n& J6 O& g2 _4 R1 w2 Yis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
3 P3 n- F: ~( Z6 ~0 S9 I2 mthe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
accurate and complete research records.
