strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness

( J) v1 P# ~% g& X6 O7 [Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
3 n4 F% l$ e, q8 @2 Eobtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a9 W+ q5 n6 Z$ K, ^3 v
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification: p+ \+ D. L0 N$ M5 v8 |- F* c/ @% `
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is8 v. J7 S& p% u) `4 Y! u
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA7 H: S, r- t0 U! ^5 V1 I$ N
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein5 c% e0 [: a+ p4 Q, p- }% [# T# o
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification5 B/ A% A% }: v5 W8 {1 L+ J1 u
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with2 c6 \$ h- ?1 |. L3 C$ ^% o+ |
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping3 E# V- d$ ?$ M
accurate and complete research records.
