Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering. 1 P, {/ }6 S. n P) H

# s& O3 l8 g f$ M3 J2 D" WExtensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.

& `! q: J1 C& k- pPractical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting. ' x5 g2 Z( q% \' t4 n# Q! L
6 m, h% h; l8 V7 A$ y9 RHave good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.
