$ t" y( j' ~+ {  R& y; |Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

Skills and Abilities Required
Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.

Practical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.

( f2 d( S( }9 }5 wHave good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.

! I' h$ a1 _. j( O, F1 y- z* o, c) LAbility to precisely follow written and verbal directions.

( H' M+ S3 Y& V  A+ }# KPrevious industrial working experience is a great asset.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor or Master degree in cell biology, biochemistry or other related areas.
