There are two ESL Programs available at CCI-LEX and we offer continuous

The LEX Program is open to citizens and residents of Canada, and classes run

there are no Friday classes. The cost for the daytime Program is $20.00 (4
5 t& ?9 Q/ d; f+ Iweeks) and the evening classes are $10.00 (4 weeks). We offer 4 levels of
8 s, j1 v3 \* P4 B0 a( rEnglish as a Second Language study - Beginner (CLB levels 1/2), Intermediate 6 k( {2 X' S& F& r$ F+ |8 p$ w( ?( u
1 (CLB levels 3/4), Intermediate 2 (CLB levels 4/5) and Advanced (CLB levels
5 B4 s. Q5 T7 e. u+ m6 and above), as well as a Literacy class for the absolute beginner 1 F$ q. f5 A- a P$ [2 ^0 t( d
(Pre-Benchmark CLB levels). The majority of these classes are led by 2 F( F2 `1 |) o# ^ D0 Z1 f
professional volunteer ESL instructors and the focus is on helping new adult ; K* X8 }3 h7 o$ N. Q6 ~% F
Canadians learn a second language.

In order to register, all potential students must take our placement test -
