The LEX Program is open to citizens and residents of Canada, and classes run

there are no Friday classes. The cost for the daytime Program is $20.00 (4
( ^5 Q; C. Y- zweeks) and the evening classes are $10.00 (4 weeks). We offer 4 levels of + y& x& w7 B. s- n {0 w# p/ l
English as a Second Language study - Beginner (CLB levels 1/2), Intermediate
8 s) z' A9 g# b0 a1 (CLB levels 3/4), Intermediate 2 (CLB levels 4/5) and Advanced (CLB levels
7 i$ K5 G) D$ A8 V% I _6 and above), as well as a Literacy class for the absolute beginner
( s0 D2 i3 X! C, y(Pre-Benchmark CLB levels). The majority of these classes are led by % O/ u$ | i3 r8 D6 S4 s9 H: b2 S2 ^
professional volunteer ESL instructors and the focus is on helping new adult ! A3 ?' m+ m/ c% l$ u) V+ Y, r
Canadians learn a second language.

In order to register, all potential students must take our placement test - 3 U @/ s% C6 q% U/ ], y6 K, v( \, |
no appointment necessary. Please, allow yourself at least one hour to 6 e) W' G& @8 L
write the placement test and if possible, we will assess the results of your , q& o6 Y" c {- V# I5 }
test immediately and begin the registration process that same day. |
