There are two ESL Programs available at CCI-LEX and we offer continuous

( M4 {3 ^9 `$ c: R& b: \6 {1 J* O! wThe LEX Program is open to citizens and residents of Canada, and classes run
7 l( u* j: u. Eduring the daytime (9-3) and in the evenings (6-8) from Monday to Thursday - ( Q, N/ N# U1 D$ ?) I
there are no Friday classes. The cost for the daytime Program is $20.00 (4 & c( O0 b- N; R" U& @3 L8 a
weeks) and the evening classes are $10.00 (4 weeks). We offer 4 levels of
4 m- Y0 ^" k$ B& |English as a Second Language study - Beginner (CLB levels 1/2), Intermediate 4 V* Y! m, ?$ A" T- g' y) l
1 (CLB levels 3/4), Intermediate 2 (CLB levels 4/5) and Advanced (CLB levels
{9 E" q& d0 R. P7 j6 e' K i. [9 R6 and above), as well as a Literacy class for the absolute beginner
( c2 z [; B/ X# q% Z(Pre-Benchmark CLB levels). The majority of these classes are led by 5 c8 w/ h+ w" M8 g; T
professional volunteer ESL instructors and the focus is on helping new adult
9 V/ N" \8 M K! D$ Y! t4 b6 _Canadians learn a second language.: E6 s# T1 n6 n2 @" }" x

(student, work, visitor), and those classes run 9-12 and 1-4 from Monday : q2 L; u2 Y! U8 k
through Friday, with an average class price of $300.00 (4 weeks). These 9 j- l- i! w0 B" F, `
classes are led by professional contracted instructors and we offer a . i+ G# Z- O$ b; V
variety of skill focused ESL classes in the mornings, followed by different , F7 c' c0 ]- E% o
developmental courses in the afternoon, such as Communication Skills and
