There are two ESL Programs available at CCI-LEX and we offer continuous

The LEX Program is open to citizens and residents of Canada, and classes run
- j* q' k. y) d: E* @# zduring the daytime (9-3) and in the evenings (6-8) from Monday to Thursday -
* \4 W; ~ G2 N/ X; [0 O% d# tthere are no Friday classes. The cost for the daytime Program is $20.00 (4 % I9 F# ^. _. R( W" C; N
weeks) and the evening classes are $10.00 (4 weeks). We offer 4 levels of
( x/ u2 H& ?- w4 ~" j* QEnglish as a Second Language study - Beginner (CLB levels 1/2), Intermediate 8 o! p9 S: h# V3 Z2 K1 u% [
1 (CLB levels 3/4), Intermediate 2 (CLB levels 4/5) and Advanced (CLB levels 8 ^. [- P* h# l. u4 B6 A/ S w
6 and above), as well as a Literacy class for the absolute beginner
* Y! t$ M0 A Q0 ?4 @(Pre-Benchmark CLB levels). The majority of these classes are led by
: ?9 h0 m% C/ qprofessional volunteer ESL instructors and the focus is on helping new adult
% G# y' n& a2 z. UCanadians learn a second language.

& {! B& P! m TThe CCI Program is open to citizens, residents & temporary Visa holders

classes are led by professional contracted instructors and we offer a $ q: O1 }. ]* k8 W) o' d
variety of skill focused ESL classes in the mornings, followed by different
- @3 @9 B0 E7 h8 bdevelopmental courses in the afternoon, such as Communication Skills and
: U" K+ L' O) g* L1 v, MPre-TOEFL.

In order to register, all potential students must take our placement test - * R; e! t) K8 r& E1 ~" O' v
no appointment necessary. Please, allow yourself at least one hour to 2 O* g5 W, Y; l( Z3 h' c
write the placement test and if possible, we will assess the results of your
