There are two ESL Programs available at CCI-LEX and we offer continuous : \1 O( E+ I, I$ A! A, K
enrolment and small class sizes.

The LEX Program is open to citizens and residents of Canada, and classes run
, s5 T' p. ^9 mduring the daytime (9-3) and in the evenings (6-8) from Monday to Thursday -
" j8 @% P! K* Nthere are no Friday classes. The cost for the daytime Program is $20.00 (4 1 p9 H: x$ P! D T2 ~2 D1 q0 i
weeks) and the evening classes are $10.00 (4 weeks). We offer 4 levels of H" E. k& M4 y# N
English as a Second Language study - Beginner (CLB levels 1/2), Intermediate
& j5 a7 I. J: b& _% O+ G0 g/ y1 (CLB levels 3/4), Intermediate 2 (CLB levels 4/5) and Advanced (CLB levels 6 j j: P0 X0 e
6 and above), as well as a Literacy class for the absolute beginner
. j5 k) u- a' N& P" U! i(Pre-Benchmark CLB levels). The majority of these classes are led by
* K7 p T" B0 K4 E1 W* ]: wprofessional volunteer ESL instructors and the focus is on helping new adult

(student, work, visitor), and those classes run 9-12 and 1-4 from Monday

classes are led by professional contracted instructors and we offer a 9 \* X! r( l4 E0 {9 ^
variety of skill focused ESL classes in the mornings, followed by different " t7 J9 L6 z" x8 ]: s7 X4 q7 ?
developmental courses in the afternoon, such as Communication Skills and 2 |- q; H1 ~1 W3 a; m

In order to register, all potential students must take our placement test - 7 o# B- R5 l- Q1 n* [
no appointment necessary. Please, allow yourself at least one hour to

test immediately and begin the registration process that same day. |
