There are two ESL Programs available at CCI-LEX and we offer continuous

The LEX Program is open to citizens and residents of Canada, and classes run
) b: Z/ s) B+ G' P, U+ oduring the daytime (9-3) and in the evenings (6-8) from Monday to Thursday -
5 d) ~8 @ W2 s- c& K4 q6 ythere are no Friday classes. The cost for the daytime Program is $20.00 (4 / L* `4 B$ B& [
weeks) and the evening classes are $10.00 (4 weeks). We offer 4 levels of
( t$ Z% ?1 e8 NEnglish as a Second Language study - Beginner (CLB levels 1/2), Intermediate
9 b/ [8 x9 U8 ~4 ], j( F3 a1 (CLB levels 3/4), Intermediate 2 (CLB levels 4/5) and Advanced (CLB levels
( x, ~2 m" z o/ D/ _0 n* R( w6 and above), as well as a Literacy class for the absolute beginner
6 Y- | V W5 Q(Pre-Benchmark CLB levels). The majority of these classes are led by / k- R( x- B# G2 Y1 I4 l! ^: P
professional volunteer ESL instructors and the focus is on helping new adult
+ y7 p6 e3 V7 ~6 o. u* BCanadians learn a second language.3 i: e8 d0 e5 y2 u9 B

(student, work, visitor), and those classes run 9-12 and 1-4 from Monday

classes are led by professional contracted instructors and we offer a

developmental courses in the afternoon, such as Communication Skills and

In order to register, all potential students must take our placement test - 7 ^4 D4 M& b4 n. D& H: `
no appointment necessary. Please, allow yourself at least one hour to
