There are two ESL Programs available at CCI-LEX and we offer continuous

The LEX Program is open to citizens and residents of Canada, and classes run
7 Q5 {& \% u4 jduring the daytime (9-3) and in the evenings (6-8) from Monday to Thursday -
$ f9 c2 t6 i7 E9 P- Ethere are no Friday classes. The cost for the daytime Program is $20.00 (4
! D* E( D2 } V# S* ^, U& V7 aweeks) and the evening classes are $10.00 (4 weeks). We offer 4 levels of 4 O/ N8 J1 e6 @, t
English as a Second Language study - Beginner (CLB levels 1/2), Intermediate ( g- n# f0 W) l8 w8 d2 q
1 (CLB levels 3/4), Intermediate 2 (CLB levels 4/5) and Advanced (CLB levels + q( X' h! O$ T, n8 T' t7 P
6 and above), as well as a Literacy class for the absolute beginner
" u2 r5 E0 I* u0 r& ]& ~6 |6 b; o(Pre-Benchmark CLB levels). The majority of these classes are led by * {* ~- t) l p& j5 u
professional volunteer ESL instructors and the focus is on helping new adult
# o4 C# J! v/ z1 {Canadians learn a second language.

The CCI Program is open to citizens, residents & temporary Visa holders

classes are led by professional contracted instructors and we offer a
+ u3 U/ ~' W, `* v4 lvariety of skill focused ESL classes in the mornings, followed by different
, p# ~% g" K+ ], R3 F7 r# W. }; C/ vdevelopmental courses in the afternoon, such as Communication Skills and 8 P/ A$ N4 G5 P! m2 n: j" I
Pre-TOEFL.. @, x5 L2 `/ f* A% u

In order to register, all potential students must take our placement test - % _- b* x2 D1 d0 _0 e
no appointment necessary. Please, allow yourself at least one hour to 1 a9 B R) p9 m
write the placement test and if possible, we will assess the results of your 9 ~/ t1 K: I9 Q7 h- ?
test immediately and begin the registration process that same day. |
