There are two ESL Programs available at CCI-LEX and we offer continuous

" ^/ `4 g# u2 l _" D* r9 QThe LEX Program is open to citizens and residents of Canada, and classes run
) a3 j$ h5 s1 `: ~+ `0 R: Iduring the daytime (9-3) and in the evenings (6-8) from Monday to Thursday - 1 l& @& w$ V4 y2 {! V
there are no Friday classes. The cost for the daytime Program is $20.00 (4
/ `% A3 J, ^8 T: zweeks) and the evening classes are $10.00 (4 weeks). We offer 4 levels of
- i) U {/ s- I6 \* a- k s0 nEnglish as a Second Language study - Beginner (CLB levels 1/2), Intermediate
$ W& q+ h. S$ b+ J: K, \# t1 (CLB levels 3/4), Intermediate 2 (CLB levels 4/5) and Advanced (CLB levels 8 o# H! F8 x+ g$ J6 q
6 and above), as well as a Literacy class for the absolute beginner
$ l- n6 \6 T/ u3 H(Pre-Benchmark CLB levels). The majority of these classes are led by
D% r4 \* M6 h8 _# _professional volunteer ESL instructors and the focus is on helping new adult 3 o5 J$ c/ Q0 P2 a! ~% @
Canadians learn a second language.

classes are led by professional contracted instructors and we offer a
. n. L* J, P& p% T& G7 }variety of skill focused ESL classes in the mornings, followed by different
/ S( j4 f' ~! ]$ Hdevelopmental courses in the afternoon, such as Communication Skills and " g; _. x# P' r$ ?$ i" j$ Y
Pre-TOEFL.: S/ W* B& y6 S7 ^/ T0 ~

In order to register, all potential students must take our placement test -
# s$ W" ?) ]7 Q8 ]% O2 {" Eno appointment necessary. Please, allow yourself at least one hour to 9 ^9 E$ ~ |( A" L, ~4 m- [6 p
write the placement test and if possible, we will assess the results of your : T V N/ ?5 l: j. C7 M: c
test immediately and begin the registration process that same day. |
