Skills and Competencies:
* Y1 e; m( V( F- y4 U& W$ w•        Completion of an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technology/Technician college program or university degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, B.Sc. (Eng).
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD 2000 or higher and Visio is an asset.
. P+ D# f; W* O, \; I( `' z3 }•        Extensive knowledge of PC’s, software, networks, Internet related technologies.
•        Experience in designing and programming HVAC control systems and/or robotics an asset.
- |) z; [  G& U•        Strong verbal and written communication skills.
& ~: }: G  ~/ e- u' B9 @•        The ability to interface effectively with clients and contractors.
$ O5 L* R) t. K•        Strong interpersonal skills.

+ \1 r- M0 O' b# G•        Review job contract plans and specifications, survey information, sales sketches, estimates and take-off sheets.  Clearly define requirements prior to starting engineering.
+ ]- i" Q* N. G2 v' B- E/ }+ Y- j1 V•        Design control systems, create control drawings, and determine DDC controller system sequences.
4 H5 t) Z, |5 b) j) p, N6 j•        Program software algorithms for building automation system
•        Manage personal backlog of projects
