- Z$ y' P: d. A9 e9 n3 F2 u& tEDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

2 Q$ F+ e% ~, ?2 S- J1 ?7 gThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
3 ]: E- e# [; s2 Sbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.6 v4 J$ }! b% }; X5 |; T
4 v" {: `9 @0 R' Y' sTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
1 V$ f0 `0 ?; }/ t' r1 ` Zof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different" O! i0 m6 p/ g( R- b
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
