时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。0 s! R/ \) q$ V v

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
5 m" e: k: p8 e/ Y! e# Y% }becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.
' L! H: v7 m, g! z: Q- M- v, E6 X& u) c0 D& G/ \1 B. O+ X
Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials# W: V& V% |, h; G0 P* P
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different- H- n% _/ J& [* ~' q% z W7 U3 P
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
