EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。( ^. M; k, Q r; A) V: S8 i' Q

时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。

地点：The Derrick Club, 3500 - 119st, edmonton

" W" O9 q' v2 r! b( |This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
) E y Q9 Z3 ?becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.' ~) x6 G0 w' W) J
; h9 G' W( } ^0 K5 cTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
0 E- P' Y; q2 \: R( O3 }% x8 T. fof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different/ A8 q: N- E) u6 t' f i) T& O
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
