/ P2 A0 C) O& o2 A8 q- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.
/ R/ w9 b- v6 C/ o- R. \- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
, r( `, S* g6 L/ M( k3 V- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community& o5 M. \: ~0 p% U/ g
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services9 D; e2 u4 u! F7 Z6 R4 o
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
1 X# V- B. J' r r% z- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies2 J; M+ i( `% P' P* e
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
! l% t8 b0 Z' U1 t- b) J$ k9 d- update ASSIST website

- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

- write quarterly and final reports for ISP
' I1 p& R: r: Q- hold regular meetings with ISP team# _" B& Z( Z' n2 H
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time( G' z. z$ l! H
- update membership database
' }# n1 N, J# R. R1 ^, b- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)% A6 m; ?, r' d1 C

+ \/ S: S3 D X6 r- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education 4 I& g3 N& X r) o9 M0 K7 Q
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills5 ~# o" }5 U: m; X1 R( f1 P
- experience in community work and immigrant services2 Y* K' V; ~! p9 u% ]! `0 u1 ]
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
