- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.( u6 X- \0 Z+ I" J% V
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
+ d- X+ k0 y* x. I6 N- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team. j! a- n; R1 g3 c0 t. ^' X) j

Qualifications:

- customer service and office clerical experiences
! U \$ U) A1 T H- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community; Z- U, ]+ y# s, @, t
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
4 [) r8 h2 [. m. M: k9 i- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services2 ^- a8 M% M3 M1 O) {
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
* }- L1 w$ D- P1 ~- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
7 n( e! r6 Z/ v7 g; @' _' m, n- update ASSIST website
0 N1 E* p) { A- x w' G- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
9 \4 ?5 P& A; S8 e; l9 O- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
i6 c: v; z9 f4 l- assist in writing proposal for ISP' X! d* R: W1 x4 I* \: r' \: ]
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP
+ c$ j2 t7 d) y) `& w+ U: n- hold regular meetings with ISP team( C) [' \3 u( ]
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time1 @. H1 {8 D0 z: A" i8 h
- update membership database6 [3 [' p1 B; T+ u
- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

Qualifications
5 V$ j( `9 q. M6 c+ u/ m4 Q- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
k( _1 W! C9 t- good oral and written Chinese and English skills/ {% ?- M2 J" I& ?& T1 `
- experience in community work and immigrant services& f5 [7 i" t0 }; S) `! n
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
