Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele

Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
?5 D/ Z/ {8 u2 ~( Z8 x% QProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support6 E) r' T5 W4 Q
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
4 C3 d% e2 T) F$ Z$ nEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
3 G1 ], @3 d% F& A: O4 Z9 DDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP, k% n2 Z* e2 G0 }* g3 F, n
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS3 N+ ?) r9 g- d% \3 D: b, a
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases$ o% n }+ D( m
Qualifications
: k5 _) Y! g4 B8 u' ^Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
/ p! p1 `/ V! L7 w' L8 fRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
! p7 K& `; n1 M' [- V8 zMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
2 n$ X7 U/ j8 J$ h4 T9 nExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)4 e: W3 D/ o/ {8 m9 _
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
