Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
7 C2 U- w$ s; rResponsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
9 S% P; q# @$ O4 m7 d" z0 wEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
, r& ^( P" r/ W5 ADevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
# x9 P' [- E: N7 r7 `/ }, YRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
" W4 o; j6 T' Y0 Z+ K- X) zMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
- W% u+ Y9 }) Z+ }) w0 PExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)

Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
