Duties
) Z8 m% G- K8 L+ P- `  W# k, RWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
' M# x: p. j1 M1 k3 S& oResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
2 u3 r, z/ x. e* T2 C$ ZProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System

Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS

% }: ^. k+ q& H$ O+ JTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
6 a# F2 V1 c8 ^( j7 u8 X. ?Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
& F+ H9 L' ?0 k; A$ ~8 T: QMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
4 E- W* K- O3 l+ y' u/ sExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
