Duties
& m# a! h8 |0 I8 TWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
. x+ F( x7 k& |, `Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
- T6 Y& y: J, g2 WResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
- ]( P2 c' N) ~8 a: [5 i' gProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support) X* F- u: A8 k5 |7 b
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff& {/ _- x. n* f
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
( K3 P* _2 i: _# g' l: u$ hDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
8 ^: j: v% v5 T% oDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
+ j4 ~/ J* M8 z5 g9 x# DDesigns, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
2 D7 r8 L1 a# B* U3 a3 ~+ fMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations) I# a, J! n# p
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
