Duties
/ h6 Z2 M7 k6 t0 H- E5 p1 SWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
# U! ^; _& ]! Z/ t, j3 ZDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
0 s& j, }. U, }3 IMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
# O+ }2 M, |; c* R$ B7 b- I( A- P: [- dExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
