Basically, All elementry schools in SouthWest of Edmonton are good. There are some outstanding ones. For the past 3 years, Windsor Park school is the top one according to the provincial achievement test results. 3 f$ i7 T2 y* r" s: x/ |

I know there are quite a few other schools that are also good. Please refer to http://www.epsb.ca/index.shtml and to "Quick Find", type in "Achievement Test Results" to find the report on achievement test results and sort them. Then you can get a picture on the school ranking, I mean, base on our chinese view of good schools.

I do care about the schools' achievement test marks. Westbrook was not doing as good as before, but the AC program is attractive to me. That's why we sent my girl there. According to my friends' comments, Windsor Park is really good. Not only the teachers(some of them may not be that great), but also the students and the parents. The most important, the parents support to the school is very very strong.

To choose a good school means not only to help your child on academic success, but also to be a better initial set up for their network. Think when go to the junior high school, your kids can still meet some old friends from elementry school, their life for junior high will have a ease start.1 ^7 @/ D8 ~( Y+ z
