twin lakes are quite far away from Edmonton. it is over peace river and only has stocked RB trout, you have tons of choices if you are after trout.

Scott · 发表于 2008-7-9 17:47

there are many lakes around Edmonton stocked with trout

老鱼 · 发表于 2008-7-9 17:50

twin lake 离 edmonton 有点远,不知Gull lake ,Pigeon lake 有没有鱼钓?

Scott · 发表于 2008-7-9 17:56

Pigeon might be good if you have a walleye tag, Gull lake is pretty hard to fish right now, it is the best lake in the winter.

If you want to enjoy fishing and don't think perch is too small Sandy beach is a good select. It is only 20km far from St Albert along #2 highway. It is easy to fish. remenber 15 limited for perch.

老鱼 · 发表于 2008-7-21 20:30

How small is the perch there?

zhangcl · 发表于 2008-7-21 21:10

They are between 15 to 20cm long. all fish is small there. I got a few trout but no one more than 20cm.

zhangcl · 发表于 2008-7-22 17:01

Sorry! I made a mistake. That small pool is not named Sandy beach. It just beside the #2 HW at Morinville on the way to Sandy beach.

Scott · 发表于 2008-7-22 17:21

it is called Morinville reservoir, very small perch, the largest is about 20cm, that is what I get by so far.

Scott · 发表于 2008-7-22 17:23

Cardiff trout pond in the golf course also has some perch and trout. very close.

ram · 发表于 2008-7-23 20:18

The twin lake is near Rocky Mountain House, two hour drive from Edmonton. The good thing is that you can catch fish for sure, big or small. You wont return with empty hand. It is nice camping ground too.

Scott · 发表于 2008-7-24 18:22

if you don't care about the size, you may try Chickakoo lake and Sauer Lake, just half an hour from Edmonton.

ram · 发表于 2008-7-25 17:32

明天想去Morinville 钓鱼,有人一起去吗,我电话是780-4298816.

辣椒 · 发表于 2008-7-25 22:02
