　　美国联邦监管机构当天将IndyMac的资产予以查封。美国储蓄管理局(Office of Thrift Supervision)在一则声明中表示，由于监管当局认为IndyMac已经无法满足存款者的要求，其已经将IndyMac的业务运营转交给联邦存款保险公司(Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation)。IndyMac因此成为今年以来第五家破产的美国银行。
