Anyone wanna learn tennis together ?

Hi, I'm new to Edmonton and very interested in learning Tennis. I'm at Level .... 0 .... -_-# ....Is there anyone who is interested to learn together? We could join a club or get a personal trainer or something. I can be contacted by email x2003wys@stfx.ca or just reply to this posting.

For the tennis pros here, could you please recommend some nice clubs or give any suggestions?

Are you a UA student? You can join their tennis course for beginners. I did that, pretty helpful.

Thanks I'll look it up. I'm new grad from university and just started working here in Edmonton by the way. I'm living in Downtown, Is there any club around downtown area?

Hi, I learned tennis in China several years ago and wanna find some not so good players too. If you don't mind, you can play with me. But I don't know where to play...... And I'm living near the University of Alberta.

I know how to play, but have played for just 2 times in the last 3 years. I think I need some practice. Joining a club is okay (but I hope not too far away). Or we can play together, and ask some other guys who might want to join us.
And I just noticed that there's a tennis field near ther university, but I don't know how to get the access of it.

既然是UA的学生，个人觉得当然是办UA SAVILLE SPORT CENTER的会员证最实惠。学生会费每个月45元，包括了室内场（8片）和室外场（9片），这样即便冬天来了也一样可以天天打球。有了会员证后，可以预先定未来某一天一个小时的场，打完后可以再定下一次，每个月不限次数。除此之外，当天定场还可以再定一个小时，不占预定未来场的名额限制。据我所知，这应该是全EDMONTON所以室内俱乐部最便宜的价钱，当然，是因为你是学生，所以才能有这个优惠，好像对外是180一个月。

我也是UA得学生以前跟老顽童他们周六聚会可是太远了呵呵要是大家能入同一个club 就太好了
本人习惯经常打球那种呵呵
虽然也好久没有打了还是可以跟大家一起练练得

如果是UA的学生就加入UA的CLUB,观河推荐的没错,很划算的!
如果不是可以加入GARNEU的CLUB,109STREET,84AVE,老玩童就在那里打球,具体可以问他.

住DOWNTOWN的可以参加老玩童周六组织的活动,或去KINGSMEN,STADIUM及104STREET 71AVE的网球场自己组织,场地免费的!
DOWNTOWN附近的TENNIS CLUB除了ROYAL GLENORA就是UA,GARNEU

Attention Guys! 既然回家了我就说中文吧。。。。我刚联系了Garneau 的 personal trainer，4 classes (1hr/class) every Wednesday night, and $40/hr divided by two people or three. 我暂定的是8月和9月weekday evening的session，现在kimberly已经确定加入了，还有人想一起么？或者要是大家不想扎堆儿学的话，我们也可以分开学然后周末一起打。看大家啦~~~

PS 我问他们的工作人员据说场地是室外红土场。。。。。 well, fine with me = )

I think you r right, it is not necessary to join a club, (especially after checking their rate...) This Sat. doesn't work for me unfortunately, otherwise I'll join you guys for sure!
