Driver killed in early morning Edmonton crash

5 P& Z- x- Y& I$ L8 U z: u4 ~0 w. dEDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.
, O* i7 K+ B8 DPolice said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.. p7 N% K. q- ~1 p9 w5 a& Q
Officers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.- G6 v& P( E9 d% a9 R4 k, p$ ^
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
