2 t7 c4 o. Q: P  \9 b" n) b    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program
    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities
    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes
  G& E) g7 P7 k, K1 [. ?    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders
    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
! z1 z4 ^5 z* T0 `- }    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs
    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director
, z/ c5 v' Y6 V# x  M7 F) H    * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning
. \* x6 c6 P. K! p7 @1 x% q    * Develops high quality promotional and educational materials
3 K9 R: U+ a, f5 c$ U- y    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media
: D2 F8 t; P8 u3 E2 m* `$ J1 I    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results
# B# r/ d% {# [  H8 l( ]3 W& r    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies

Qualifications
; k; @( G+ z* U: S( P7 P' o, J& k9 ?
' M1 G4 ~! ^( T+ Z" \3 v    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred
    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth
    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset
    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies
    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills
    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning

    * Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills
