    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program
  n! s. e! ~& i! S' k1 _    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities
( G" w1 D! s8 X2 I: f4 Q    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes0 k6 z/ N# P& _  _6 K
    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
( s$ X, K$ C  c6 k    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders
" z, K7 [+ _5 l4 P7 l* C: L    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements/ y% Z' \+ w. V
    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs1 |7 [  u+ c( W' h0 W- W
    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director7 K, G$ \, b4 `1 e
    * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning" Z! f8 Q( }2 Y4 d/ T
    * Develops high quality promotional and educational materials2 \" c9 K/ J1 K
    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media
" d1 O" q* i7 k% |    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results
7 K& N9 h0 W% ?    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies( c7 M$ ~7 d% S# D* B* g; P! T

    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred
9 ?. Q1 T. w: d    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth/ J% w" ]/ d; P7 c- m) f
    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset1 J. Z+ v1 p6 e  L4 Z
    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies+ H; A. r. w, m5 b
    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills; u* b$ K+ L5 o5 {
    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning
" `; }: ]( [5 ?& M1 B    * Demonstrated skills in program/donor communication, development of information, education and communication material (including web-based documentation)
) P8 B+ N' T4 \    * Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills% ^, [& q, i& T; g) z
