Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant& E+ {. `( N2 x1 N2 [
Location:        Edmonton

% T% C! E9 L  E$ bMajor Responsibilities: ( w% Y" x! L5 H* G
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
5 n) ]& q9 }" ]+ E  C•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
5 g" p6 |+ \3 f- P6 n•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.    v! x* k# \) w
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
5 ]8 C$ D3 a) ?4 I& s•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.1 ^: W# L9 d' x( ], w, i3 k  B
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.' Y( z: s( T! ?# A$ L/ b
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

9 s: V2 D0 n/ G& b•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. * k$ C# x7 G5 m
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ; P4 q- o" c- }, W# f; f
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
