Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant) w' q- R# r, z
Location: Edmonton

Major Responsibilities: : H# {! ~* C/ A1 p
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.7 F" J# |' W; C2 c. }% P2 a. s
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.& [2 ~4 z1 X! {) M: a% d
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. / S" E# D7 O) T; ^+ y O
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
! G5 T! r2 _+ q• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.4 @: U. y& a3 Y, ^7 I; n
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.) y3 m/ z! u7 F
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.! }' V: F! o' L% f! L6 i. ^
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.1 d* g% r9 I7 k1 P% i; F3 S
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.; G6 J# E, @8 c: A8 ?
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

Qualifications:* \& [5 h" c1 Y/ l" d1 c+ b+ Y
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. - r2 T w5 T% I1 v2 m) @
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. + J h* C; b0 Z* M. N
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
$ U$ p& {2 H, U• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 3 i8 u% L: z. X1 `& e7 g$ Y. ~
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
* x0 ?4 U8 E1 n7 a; X• Not scared of heights
u; s. u ?$ b' M2 x• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
3 O8 Z- d* E0 R• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
