Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant  [' W4 ~9 v4 B
Location:        Edmonton

) Y3 h5 l- i$ l$ M% P% oMajor Responsibilities:
% Z; F" l8 {- [; l•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.( u5 H% L; v, I% p/ D2 s
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.. c6 m0 a0 Q* h& F! s
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  3 @/ b# T& R# H6 J4 A9 B
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
! u5 M- M* G1 o- W8 e8 W/ w5 g2 `•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
5 ^: \3 m* l) E, `•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.1 D) r% w, f+ S$ D- a& C) W
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.+ y6 F1 B+ V% \) a. W5 U9 B4 g
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
" f) M7 K/ G8 d) g0 z. a, ~•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.# Z* \6 x( Y, R  |, B7 ?
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
2 E* V7 i" ]5 ^4 i) ]# A  d" b•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
/ D5 w+ x3 W( B# h' y5 B) B5 N8 I9 W•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
. C8 v: n* K# l% `•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

0 S9 E: `! B; U2 z- \. W; R0 v•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 1 D. k5 l) ?: @! Y6 J* |4 C
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
& m8 j' T4 U4 t: H; i•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential  ]' \0 |- m& N6 F9 ~) O/ H# b
•        Not scared of heights
