Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities: ) E' I4 W4 c8 M. Q
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
7 s! R8 L: Y6 ~- o2 X# _9 d• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory./ y1 m, f7 ^2 K. F7 d
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. % b- G5 A$ V: V: B3 t% R. @
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.4 A! e3 Q; p% R- Q1 r+ O
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
' [- o( K7 e2 ]4 M4 J+ G• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.6 k9 s6 Q4 E5 G0 D* L
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.1 l8 I) \8 D4 r8 p/ x- s, g0 ^. l
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive., J$ G% a% A7 f3 @" i1 x
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.% I/ p/ P% P9 z& C( ?
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.+ l' I+ a# p' a7 h( i
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
) j' S$ G! d1 d( d5 d• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

7 {) @ G7 r3 b/ ]! _. Z, G/ S& ]: o• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 4 p$ P9 n( N( |: s* i
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ! d$ C: A1 m5 s3 N. b% i# B* j
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. # z- v. P) Z" }+ T7 E, w5 D
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
) A4 u; s. p) _& P% d" l& f3 {7 v• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
/ E" q# K; N- b- ^/ v( {: `• Not scared of heights
( G6 q" @7 v2 @3 w• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
