Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

! A, P+ u& n# s8 q' ]- Z0 |•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.$ G3 {1 G# J; s; l: w4 ?" {
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.1 L6 J  Z) y/ n% E* k+ {* g7 U
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  ) X3 [+ i+ _# S& p0 S( C) [
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.- b: [* R: d0 F* L. K
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.$ c; ?. m6 \; l4 j$ C* a  I
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.4 Q, p; ]# V0 o. ^5 d6 [
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.9 H5 k! t: F; R& N  x- n
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.; [) w: J! u0 j- {% v
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy., r+ s$ m( {8 m4 z
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.. G7 h/ |% l  G7 }

Qualifications:
6 V4 N: c$ D' @•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 6 R1 O7 B* L. R: A
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. . ?. P6 d& l1 \% M( I, A7 s
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ' Y! d8 |+ c+ z+ }1 ^. k4 c
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. * p: J  m8 Z  ^8 [5 X, ~% C
