大约山地时间清晨2:20左右，警察接到报警电话，在whitemud drive,170street附近，一辆银色Infiniti正遭到枪击。

一男性遇刺身亡

) D3 z0 \, Z2 F% D几乎在与上一枪击案发生的同时，一位男性遇刺身亡，而其他几位则被警察拘捕。据爱民屯警察新闻发布会透露，事情起因于两个帮派在后院小道上的争吵。

在大约山地时间凌晨2:45左右，警察发现一辆车正在靠近Whyte Avenue的Gateway Boulevard上逆向行驶。

警察上前停住了这两车，发现车辆中有一位24岁的男性乘客伤势严重。

+ f: ]- s. ~$ Q" aOne male passenger fled from the vehicle before police arrived, and reports indicate a small white car was seen fleeing the scene after the shots were fired.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation, but police believe the incident is not random and is likely gang-related.

( `+ \+ g" I0 k, O9 TMeanwhile, one male is dead and another is in police custody after an altercation between two groups in an alley early Sunday morning, according to an EPS press release.

9 `! c/ [9 P4 u, i8 @+ _7 K: pAt approximately 2:45 a.m. MT, officers spotted a vehicle being driven the wrong way on Gateway Boulevard near Whyte Avenue.

) p9 c' ^! g5 RUpon stopping the car, the officers learned that one of the passengers, a 24-year-old male, was seriously injured.

. F/ b& L1 j1 v- Q# }) o, HHe was taken to hospital, where he died of his injuries.

A police investigation revealed that the three male occupants of the vehicle had been involved in a physical altercation with two other males and a female near an alley south of Whyte Avenue, between Gateway Boulevard and Calgary Trail, which resulted in one male being stabbed.

; B0 x0 K& _) \) EThe three suspects were located by police immediately following the vehicle stop. A 32-year-old male is in custody and charges are pending.

Officers are investigating the circumstances that led to the altercation.
