Full time position (35 hours each week)

$ F8 T4 a4 B, l3 k* x! x! s4 _+ p•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
# w; c( W! @2 c: k; U, V•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
2 }! ?& U9 g  |! `/ i•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
5 [! A5 f* p2 K; Y, p: N' P•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
" O9 \  c, X; V5 H: t! d( P•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

7 d9 K0 w% K/ \' a# T9 b- KQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
# @+ y. W. r5 ~* A3 f( s•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
9 F6 v1 }) U6 J  D•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
