Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
0 b; J# m7 L, o, q•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
" q  e5 ]+ s) L2 X•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
; A, w' M/ ~$ z& y- Q8 @•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
) a  t. I9 t0 W•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
# |) _9 }+ u, G2 X3 {+ T•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
4 B7 |. S  ?) `  _6 O•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends

Qualifications
0 z4 Z3 M% A* T$ i( f•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
% D  k" K5 c$ F1 H- _; @•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
