Position: Youth Services Manager
4 _4 v- D0 E) ]0 ^Full time position (35 hours each week)

/ A0 D1 G3 P( G9 f' O" S, i* iJob Description – Responsibilities
9 K: D8 c' L2 ?6 k) K2 C* r7 ]4 M: P•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
. E4 t/ y: H+ N7 W6 J* J2 ?•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
4 W  |) m8 p$ X0 ^5 D•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
$ {0 m% Z" s& H1 {1 B( }5 E' y/ ]( b•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
9 T( H, }0 c, D7 W6 Y$ O; P•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
8 s, |7 E1 M1 {$ p7 O8 r•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
, \" m7 e" R, |" l+ J1 d•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
  `* `# h6 m' [" g! K•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
, w- M2 u, P, u•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
7 v; b) V8 p& ~3 x& H5 w•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
  G& d& {# v; {0 r5 m5 a* {) a•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

3 V* s) A# j: r9 D) PQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
( }4 t2 p7 b: V" y) N/ `•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
$ |! l6 \" Q- U& O% [: r+ p1 h5 A•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* d; b4 q) h6 s& i0 d" P•        willingness to learn
