A total of 18,900 homes will change hands in both 2008 and 2009, Remax said. That’s slightly higher than figures released Tuesday by the Realtors Association of Edmonton, which reported 16,763 sales through November and conceded that the local market is unlikely to reach the predicted 18,500 sales for the year.
