Cantruss, 俺来说两句。。。。哎哟,谁在扔砖头?!

the most commonly used size of cantruss also called standard cantruss has its dimension of 2 5/8" by 1 7/16", with holes bored on either side or just a whole piece. other than that, we also use "shallow cantruss", which is half the depth of standard size or "double cantruss", which is pre-manufactured two standard cantruss simply back to back welded together.! n- k& B7 T$ F" J4 g; d+ {# X+ K) @( K
. x5 f+ x3 S' K1 A4 zMost cantruss are made by steel, however, we do see aluminum cantruss some time as well, for an instance, the rung or a ladder tray.% y7 G( r& O6 Z% n* m3 G
5 n/ p7 p/ p( {1 rThe best way to cut a contruss is by using chop saw, however chop saws are banded on some jobsite in Alberta, which is very wired. other means of cutting a contruss might be band saw, sawsall(reciprocating saw), or hydraulic cantruss cutter. Hacksaw does work as well, by you might need a little bit musle!

Most common ways to put cantruss together is by welding, drill hole and bolt it together, or using some pre-fabricated "T" or "L" shape joiners i# B J" E9 C8 p5 Z

# x& R* J+ `% U# uSteel cantruss is usually galvanized for corrosion resistance, but the galvanize also causes some problem and generate poison gas when welding . So, remember to grind the galvanize off about half inch back at either end of the welding points before you deliver it to a welder will be highly appreciated by welders.- w4 m4 G/ X- z4 f0 m& E7 t1 r& Z
