Responsibilities:      Processing and cryopreservation of Cord Blood Stem Cells

                     General laboratory maintenance
                       Maintenance of laboratory equipment

9 ^6 E* ^2 u; ~: [                     Adherence to laboratory safety standards
                     Quality assurance procedures to maintain general good
                       laboratory practice

                     Good command of spoken and written English
                     Certificate of competence in Laboratory Technology from a recognized Canadian Institution
& z1 s" K% @2 J                       or a foreign equivalent Prior experience in a medical or scientific laboratory setting
                       an asset Weekend duty on a rotational basis

Position           :   Laboratory Assistant Part-Time (6hrs. /day)

                       Processing and documentation of laboratory inventory and data  
                       Maintenance of laboratory equipment
% d. X' b4 G4 h6 c, S                     Maintenance of liquid nitrogen freezers
                     General laboratory maintenance
Requirements:     Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada
                     Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
                     Good command of written and spoken English
                     Computer literate
3 H% f; {* H! m: F8 l% z                     Prior experience in a medical or scientific laboratory an asset
9 x. V! r" H0 S7 N+ ^                     Available for limited weekend duty
