There were 1,075 sales of residential properties through the Multiple Listing Service — breaking the 1,000-unit threshold for the first time since October.

" z2 {$ Y6 z; s( Q% ^! m: bFrom January to February, condo prices were down 4.9 per cent, or $11,678 to $226,857 and duplex/rowhouses sold on average for $309,180, up 3.3 per cent.

Compared to the same month last year, the average residential price fell 8.7 per cent to $308,970.
