Job Description

/ [: v. ^3 B3 z3 |0 oAs a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications.
! M/ q) i! a; i, R6 y4 ^! Z" G+ gAs part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:
1 [- ^) U/ q4 j" }Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off. ) F! |! l6 R" f* Z
Create process and data models to visually represent requirements information. ! V) d; M( {& [( ]
Perform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing. " H' ~4 {. j! ?& F7 q. ?& v9 U
Assist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase.
5 A" o- z( I' ?' b1 GSupport, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production. " u$ m6 m) n% K; N1 ?$ o
Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems. 1 U' c1 e9 c2 D5 ?6 D$ I
Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications. ( ?: J' F3 j. V. y9 l
Summarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement.
9 \9 Q. R0 [7 D. ^8 Y5 s' |Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables.
, w, c3 f1 ^/ I4 _* a! U Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset. @/ z1 s: v; f, F( Z+ A
• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.5 E e7 M7 ~7 A: v
• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.& n/ W3 g7 [9 z# S$ D0 J! T% s- N q
• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.+ @6 W7 `9 k7 x, }4 L, H
• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills are a must.
