* u1 u- e* F" f) ^& X" s9 o, G1 MAs a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications.
- t. p4 k1 n P jAs part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:2 S( [, r7 \3 [$ H. j
Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off. ' f% K3 I! ~9 u) {
Create process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
: n5 L4 ?; Q" W+ N$ j. P6 ~3 s7 I3 C# WPerform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing. $ _7 L9 K% a6 S& [6 M
Assist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase.
( {5 G6 K t/ `) F; ]$ ASupport, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production. & r$ O. { r. T' Y& B ?7 @
Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems. E3 D5 c! s+ X3 ?" O, a& J
Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications. ]5 q( j' h# I0 D) c$ f
Summarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement.
) ^) @, A- q$ k' ~Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables. . [6 A( k- a! \ G% s
Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset# m/ h7 ~; j% ]- @
• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
6 f3 c9 a9 q+ i* K" g• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.
+ Y( ]( `! L% R" i/ h0 Y• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.+ s- X/ H3 |, W8 x
• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.
