Business Analyst (.Net Application Development)

As a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications.
% B! k! h" r, M( \/ B3 XAs part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:
& A7 P* h; c% s5 \: V9 K" ~4 ^Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off. 9 m1 o" T S" d
Create process and data models to visually represent requirements information. ) B5 t* O# L5 T) T% v( d
Perform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing. % O" ]8 D7 x d( x
Assist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase.
0 R1 }5 r8 D, f! dSupport, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production. # P' ? N4 S3 B5 @
Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems. # M. S9 f1 M; o7 b+ @
Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
+ Q1 k. i/ j- @1 ?3 e: {9 T/ ESummarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement. 4 Y7 K5 T; Z$ X4 m# g; y$ L
Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables.
# W9 B. d; }, m2 a. @2 ?% u ~, l Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset
+ l/ C3 s% ]" d• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
& S( g' C' Y7 T& O" q• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.
. K8 S3 t: i3 o( a3 ?• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.9 A( G/ F6 X9 m- }1 U
• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.3 V' g/ ] I' H/ o
