( { M" i% B# w+ UAs a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications. " f/ n! m7 S1 I5 r! l
As part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:2 r) B) N3 A2 S3 E2 g0 }
Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off.
" k% P1 _. e# E' w+ xCreate process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
3 _6 _4 @' } Q- b3 }! `9 d7 l1 DPerform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing.
" l- r ~/ Q3 V0 M0 \. bAssist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase. - l: Y' R" `- V7 B& F& ^6 {3 J6 x
Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production. & R8 W0 k/ k- u
Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems. |! W# J2 ~4 ~! x, j/ h o% ]* q9 F
Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
6 l4 h- J' Y: ^8 r4 |3 n$ SSummarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement.
; y# @7 O2 Z" R6 }Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables.
0 t6 ]- {2 `. }2 V: I H2 @: n Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset
- N/ }% ^ n, P• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
3 M$ }% O. |! _% W" h• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.
c+ ^3 A8 {2 M• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.
; S3 B/ J- ?# T7 Y) w# M# d. z) h• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.
