As a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications. 6 Z0 g: c- Z! p" X- ^; }, f
As part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:
6 S6 O9 P- z! R7 S5 h) z7 { kConvert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off.
; R- R, u( K3 s Q3 U0 L# PCreate process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
4 K4 d" a3 P, X. |# TPerform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing.
o! Y9 V# ]. VAssist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase. 9 w! i* h( \- B4 J8 S6 P+ J
Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production.
F4 B2 H' C! yAnalyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems.
8 l: s' G* r8 G: _ aAssist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
5 T1 D8 I- `3 ?7 `Summarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement. & f* Z5 s/ S" q4 O; P
Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables.
) Q8 M5 E$ Y- E" \; ^4 g$ A3 R+ F Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset
! V# w, J+ q: ]% A' ^• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
$ Q5 k& |& \6 A9 ^6 [. \3 v• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.$ k9 G9 c+ X3 i' b/ a
• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.
+ B, Z* h1 ?) b9 T+ L• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment., w; K8 s3 }, ], ^& Z+ \4 t

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills are a must.
