' M# n. Z E5 HFORT MCMURRAY, Alta. - Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU) and two of its contractors are headed to court next month after being charged with dumping partially-treated sewage from two work camps into a northern Alberta river.8 Y8 g- b8 U) {" h7 M* e0 t
1 p" S& P# c( [# M/ p5 H, YThe contractors charged are the Compass Group of Canada, which ran the camps, and Rodney McCabe, whose now-defunct company operated the two wastewater plants.% Q! L7 k( `6 M q: P5 {
" }$ P9 F9 O' f2 y% vThe charges laid last year under Alberta's Environmental Protection Act include failing to properly treat wastewater and providing false or misleading information to the environment ministry.

7 C; V, I" x3 [" U* sEnvironment Minister Rob Renner says the charges were laid after a routine audit found problems with the sewage discharge into the Athabasca River.
