FORT MCMURRAY, Alta. - Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU) and two of its contractors are headed to court next month after being charged with dumping partially-treated sewage from two work camps into a northern Alberta river.! F v+ C! o8 I5 ^6 \
* g# ?; C8 f% C. V% n3 E- ^The contractors charged are the Compass Group of Canada, which ran the camps, and Rodney McCabe, whose now-defunct company operated the two wastewater plants.

$ l* m- \" _8 MThe charges laid last year under Alberta's Environmental Protection Act include failing to properly treat wastewater and providing false or misleading information to the environment ministry.
