FORT MCMURRAY, Alta. - Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU) and two of its contractors are headed to court next month after being charged with dumping partially-treated sewage from two work camps into a northern Alberta river.2 q6 c0 @3 S6 i# d, c+ B
+ F8 v% ]* r# U! @6 Z1 ]The contractors charged are the Compass Group of Canada, which ran the camps, and Rodney McCabe, whose now-defunct company operated the two wastewater plants.2 ]+ t, E8 @( k1 h1 O

The charges laid last year under Alberta's Environmental Protection Act include failing to properly treat wastewater and providing false or misleading information to the environment ministry." m% o! `4 v# c% q7 z. F* b
